ABOUT THE NATIONAL EMS MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

On Saturday November 3rd 2018, the National EMS Memorial bill was signed into law by the President of the United States becoming public law 115-275. This new law authorizes the National EMS Memorial Foundation to establish the National EMS Memorial in Washington, D.C. to honor the commitment, service, and sacrifice of the Nation’s EMS providers killed in the line of duty and for all those that continue to serve.

A 501 (c)(3) organization, The National EMS Memorial Foundation’s mission is to honor the heroism, courage, and enduring sacrifice of all past, present, and future EMS Providers and to remember and celebrate the lives of those killed in the line of duty.

The National EMS Memorial will honor EMS providers across all of the various service delivery models including federal, state, local, private, volunteer, military, and tribal EMS.

We are well on the way to creating a National EMS Memorial in Washington, DC.  We are currently in the final stages of the Federal approval process to secure a site and the design and construction phase of the Memorial will quickly follow.

We need your help! The National EMS Memorial will rely solely on the support of individuals and businesses. The donations of our supporters are critical in order to move forward with the completion of the memorial.
